Our last trip to Saba in 2022 was a blast and we knew right away we'd be coming back to experience the Dutch Caribbean culture, great diving, and breathtaking views of this tropical hideaway.

Saba is a volcanic mountain rising from the sea about 28 miles south of St. Martin. The steep cliffs of this small island hides 2 small Dutch Caribbean communities up high in the hills where our hotel is located. The peaks of the volcanic mountain are often hidden by clouds and have created a lush tropical jungle landscape with hiking trails you can tackle if you are adventurous.

There are no crowds, high rise hotels or urban development to spoil the natural beauty of this island. We will be staying at Juliana's Hotel which is located in the heart of a small village with local shops, restaurants, bars and intense local flavor!!! You have to experience this island first hand to understand what a secret getaway feels like.

5 days of 3 tank boat dives with a box lunch included. Saba SCUBA diving features dramatic sheer walls, underwater and above water pinnacles, and vibrant healthy reefs teeming with fish. There is a very good chance to see eagle rays, several species of sharks, and seahorses on many dives.

Your package includes round trip airfare from Milwaukee on Delta Airlines to St. Martin, where we will take the ferry to the island of Saba to start our adventure.

Our group will depart from Milwaukee at 5:55am on Sat Aug 22nd to St. Martin with a short connection in Atlanta. We arrive in St. Martin at 2pm where will have transfers from the airport to the ferry marina. Our ferry ride will take us about 90 minutes to get to Saba where we will be transported up to Juliana's Hotel and check into our rooms.

No meals included on this travel day. The hotel restaurant, " Tropics Cafe" has excellent food, a wide menu, and is reasonably priced or you can explore the town and choose from many local dining options.

For the next 5 days, starting on Sunday Aug 23rd, we will start the day with breakfast at Tropics Hotel and then be transported down to the marina. We will have 2 dives in the morning followed by a box lunch provided by the resort. After lunch, we will enjoy another afternoon dive and then be transported back up the hill to the resort.

Dinner is on your own each evening with many reasonably priced options to choose from. The island ( and town ) is very small so you have no trouble getting around on foot and may get to know the friendly locals quickly.

Our final day we will have breakfast included at the resort before we are transported back via the ferry to St. Martin. Our flight from St. Martin will again have a connection in Atlanta where we will have to go through customs before our flight to Milwaukee arriving at 11:25pm.
