Located near the end of the world, far away from anywhere you have even heard of, you will find Raja Ampat. Raja Ampat is an archipelago of over 1,500 islands in Southwest Papua, Indonesia, famed for its stunning turquoise waters, lush jungles, and unparalleled marine biodiversity.

Raja Ampat National Park is located in Indonesia’s West Papua province at the center of the Coral Triangle. In Bahasa, the country’s official language, Raja Ampat translates to “Four Kings” and represents the four major islands of the legendary Raja Ampat dive region: Misool, Salawati, Batanta and Waigeo.

Raja Ampat considered among the PREMIERE dive destinations in the world. This is a once in a lifetime trip that you will fondly remember forever.

This trip is only offered to those with a minimum of 50 dives and hold a certification of Advanced Open Water or higher. Must also be proficient with a Delayed Surface Marker Buoy. Comfort with deeper dives and currents is a MUST.

On the liveaboard, you will be offered up to 4 dives per day, and includes all meals, water, coffee, tea and juices.  

Your voyage on All Star Aurora contrasts the old world charm of this scuba diving liveaboard with modern day creature comforts.

Trip and DAN insurance is required.  

You will be able to purchase Starlink Internet while onboard. You do get 2GB for FREE. Additional data is: $15 for 5GB and 35 for 15GB.

Depart from Chicago O'Hare on March 15th on Turkish Air at 9:15pm. Arrive in Istanbul at 4:05pm on March 16th. Check into YOTEL (optional add on). Depart Istanbul at 2:20am on March 17th. Arrive in Jakarta at 6pm. MUST PURCHASE a VISA from the Kiosk for $35pp. DO NOT DO ONLINE ahead of time!!!

Depart Jakarta on Garuda at 12:30am on March 18th and arrive in Sorong at 6:30am on March 18th.

Depart March 29th on Batik Air at 11:25am and arrive in Jakarta at 1:15pm. Depart on Jakarta Air at 9pm and arrive in Istanbul at 4:50am (March 30th). Depart Istanbul at 6:30am and arrive in Chicago at 9:40am on March 30th.

You will rest here from March 18th until the Liveaboard Crew picks us up around 9am on March 20th for our adventure on the Aurora in Raja Ampat.

We arrive in Istanbul Turkey at 4:05pm on March 16th.

We depart from Instanbul on March 17 at 12:30am to fly to Jakarta.

We have nearly a 10 hour layover in Istanbul Turkey. We have reserved rooms at an airport hotel inside the airport.

You will have the option to book your room as an add on so you can sleep and take a shower without leaving the airport.

We arrive in Jakarta Indonesia at 6pm and will need to purchase a VISA in person upon arrival.

Our next flight departs Jakarta at 12:30am on March 18 where we fly into Sarong arriving at 6:30am on March 18th.

We have transfers that morning to take us to the Swiss Belhotel in Sorong where will have early check in arranged and we will depart for the liveaboard on March 20 for our 9 day liveaboard adventure.

Our liveaboard adventure begins on March 20 2027 where will will enjoy 9 nights onboard the All Star Aurora.

Up to 4 dives per day, all meals and snacks included, with coffee, tea and water. Soft drinks, beer, and wine are avail for sale aboard. Feel free to bring along your own beverages.
