Our SCUBA trips have mainly been resort based diving. We have been done numerous dive trips to Roatan, Cozumel, and other resort based dives throughout the Rivera Maya. This was our first ‘live aboard’ SCUBA trip and our first SCUBA trip with ‘Breezeway Bubbles’. We were pleasantly surprised by the entire experience. The Aqua Cat and the Aqua Cat’s staff were amazing! The crew was professional, helpful, friendly, and just plain fun. The boat itself was fantastic and we loved our queen room. Additionally, the kitchen staff produced a variety of some very delicious food and the soup du jour was always fantastic. The dive sites and marine life were also awesome! That is, wall dives, night dives, a drift dive, wreck dives, a shark feed, and the ever present abundance of marine life; especially sharks, sting rays, barracudas, turtles, and a variety of other aquatic life. The ‘washing machine’ dive in particular was unique and a ‘must do’ dive in my opinion. Although my primary focus was to dive all the scheduled dives, my wife took a few dives off and went on two of the excursions. She was excited about having alternative activities when not diving and thoroughly enjoyed the excursions. The Aqua Cat live aboard experience not only met, but exceeded our expectations in every regard. The Aqua Cat has definitely raised our future expectations of what a live aboard SCUBA trip should be. Additionally, we really appreciated the trip video created by Divemaster Ty and the staff of the Aqua Cat. We have watched the video several times since our return and have shown it to several family members and friends. It’s truly a great souvenir and holds some wonderful images of an epic week of diving and a memorable time spent with a great group of people. Many thanks to all the Aqua Cat staff for an unforgettable week. Jean and I truly appreciate all the effort you all put in to create a fun and safe experience. And finally, a special thanks to Don and the ‘Breezeway Bubbles’ staff as well. Jean and I often arrange our own dive trips, but we have done many SCUBA trips with other dive shops too. This had to be the most organized and smoothest dive trip we have ever been a part of. ‘Breezeway Bubbles’ made the travel days, and the trip in general, as trouble free and painless as possible. ‘Breezeway Bubbles” is now our ‘go to’ source for SCUBA diving trips. We definitely intend to be a part of future trips with ‘Breezeway Bubbles’ and we hope book another Aqua Cat trip when it’s offered again. Mark & Jean

This was our second liveaboard with Breezeway Bubbles, and it was awesome! The boat and crew were top notch (as a vegetarian, it was the best food I have had at any resort or liveaboard - and there have been some good ones) The diving was very good and varied - wall dives, a wreck dive, blue hole dives, a washing machine dive, a shark dive (and lots of other encounters with reef sharks). Of course, trips are always better with great people, and Breezeway trips are always amazing in that regard. Once again, a well-organized trip that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

We had a fantastic time. Excellent food and staff on the Aqua Cat. Great excursions. Many great memories. We can’t wait for our next Breezeway Bubbles trip!!

Great trip from start to finish! Everything was easy by both Breezeway Bubbles and Aqua Cat. The boat was just perfect with comfortable beds, excellent food and great diving. Will do it again!!

Wonderful experience. I didn’t dive much because of a recent illness, but I took full advantage of the excursions. The food was fabulous and the cabin was comfortable. 10/10 hope to do it again! Thank you for making it so easy!
